The Second HPCx Annual Seminar, New Science from Capability Computing, took place in Edinburgh on Friday 9th July 2004, hosted at the National e-Science Centre (NeSC), in the centre of town. This followed on from the very successful First HPCx Annual Seminar held at Daresbury Laboratory in December 2003.
We held a number of associated events on the preceding day, Thursday 8th July:
the HPCx User Group meeting, held at NeSC, Edinburgh, commenced at 6pm, finished at 7pm.
a buffet/wine reception, sponsored by IBM, held at the Talbot Rice Gallery, Edinburgh, commenced at 7.30pm.
the Improved Performance Scaling on HPCx course, held at EPCC, Edinburgh University.
