Novel Parallel Programming Languages for HPC

The Workshop

This workshop will focus on a number of emerging programming languages for HPC and will include the following talks:

  • Brad Chamberlain (Cray) - Chapel Programming Language
  • John Reid (RAL) - Co-array Fortran
  • Olivier Tardieu (IBM) - IBM X10
  • Victor Luchangco (Sun) - Sun Fortress
  • Jason Beech-Brandt (Cray Centre of Excellence) - Applications of UPC
  • Stephen Booth (EPCC) Object-Oriented languages for HPC.

    The Novel Parallel Programming Languages for HPC workshop will take place on Wednesday, 18th June 2008 at the e-Science Institute, Edinburgh.


    Host and Venue

    The seminar will be organised by EPCC, University of Edinburgh and hosted by the e-Science Institute in Edinburgh, 15 South College Street, EH8 9AA.
