Greetings--

We have a request from EPSRC for us to supply them with certain very
basic data about our users.

This would be only the following:

  - Your name
  - Your institution
  - The HPCx project(s) you belong to

EPSRC don't want any information now or in the future about people's
patterns of use of the system or any other part of the service.  They
simply want to be able to identify the users, where they are located
and their field of work.

They need this information in order to build the case for the Future
development of HPC in the UK, particularly the HECTOR (HPCy) project.

If you wish us NOT to let EPSRC have this information about you,
please let us know, by mailing to J.Fisher@epcc.ed.ac.uk, before 17
December 2003.  If I don't hear from you, I will assume we have your
permission.
