Some of the information we sent you in the last mailing was not quite right. The section headed "For PIs and Project Managers" should read as follows. Our apologies for this. For PIs or Project Managers --------------------------- Your users will need to know the project password in order to register. If you've forgotten this, or you want to change it, log into the admin website (see above) and then click the "Administer" button. Now click "Update". This will show you the project password, and you can change it if you wish. When a user has registered, you will need to accept their registration. Only after you have done this will their account be created. To accept registrations, log into the admin website. At the top of your main page you will see a section headed "New Project Signup Requests", followed by a list of people who have registered, and are awaiting your approval. Click on a person's "Process" button. This will display that person's details, and at the bottom two buttons: "Reject" and "Accept". Click one of these. You can also delay accepting or rejecting a person by leaving that page. For the present we would like to ask you to restrict the number of users to two per project. If this will present a problem for you, please get in touch by mailing to support@hpcx.ac.uk Regards --John ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Earlier mailings: http://www.hpcx.ac.uk/support/notices/index.html -- John Fisher j.fisher@epcc.ed.ac.uk HPCx User Administration and Helpdesk HPCx: http://www.hpcx.ac.uk Helpdesk: support@hpcx.ac.uk Phone: +44 131 650 5029 Fax: +44 131 650 6555
