The first of these, known as "HPS Service Pack 7", will be installed during the maintenance session of Wednesday, 28 July. It will deliver significantly improved switch bandwidth across the mid-range of packet sizes, and there will also be some improvements in latency. The second, known as "HPS Service Pack 9" will be installed in the second half of September. There will be more improvements in latency, and some additonal enhancements, such "striping", which will enable a single MPI task to use all switch links rather than just one. We will announce further details about these significant upgrades later. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- RECENT TECHNICAL REPORTS Can I draw your attention to some recent additions to the HPCx Technical Reports?
